This is the seventh batch in the wonderful series of legendary Tun 1401 series. It was conceived by David Stewart the malt master at Balvenie. He used hand selected casks and marryed them over a 3 month period.
Described as “rich, deep and floral” with “maltiness”, blossom honey and notes of orange peel overlaid with a delicate sweetness and mature oak tannin.
Sweet, with cinnamon, honey and vanilla mingling with hints of oak.
Citrus notes, vanilla and honey linger on the finish.
