Clynelish 1997. Clynelish single malt was distilled in 1997 and finished in Oloroso Seco casks.
Grassy with notes of cut hay and soft fruit on the nose, alongside coastal air, gentle woodsmoke and buttered, burnt toast.
Lots of fruit, mixed with rich beeswax, a little manuka honey, salted butter, marmalade and black pepper. A touch of smoke too.
Good length with pepper, spices and redcurrant jelly.
