Right away, it strikes me as a bit young but then I notice raisins, vanilla, fudge, plums and lots of spices. Quite complex and interesting, a whisky you can nose for hours.
A lovely bitter sweetness, more plums, figs, vanilla and the spices of course. Quite powerful but smooth at the same time. Although it has a noticeable sherry influence, this whisky is not your typical Speyside single malt. It is impressively complex and full of spices.
he finish is medium to long and continues to reveal more spices and fruits with hints of fudge and vanilla.
